Genshin Impact 7.0: release date on iOS, Android, PS5, Xbox Series and PC
In brief
Genshin Impact 7.0, titled Everwinter Without Mercy, arrives on August 12, 2026 on all platforms: PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and mobile. This major update introduces Snezhnaya, the seventh nation of Teyvat, with a brand-new TPS mode, two new playable characters, and a revolutionary elemental reaction system.
It's official: version 7.0 of Genshin Impact, subtitled Everwinter Without Mercy, will release on August 12, 2026. miHoYo confirms the date without any particular surprise compared to the usual pace of major updates, scheduled every six weeks for years now. It will be available on PS5, Xbox Series, PC (Epic Games/HoYoverse launcher), iOS and Android.

Since Genshin is a free-to-play game based on the gacha system, there's no deluxe edition or classic collector's edition to pre-order. Monetization will, as always, go through Event Wishes: first phase with Odette and Alyosha alongside Arlecchino, second phase with the return of Flins and Ineffa. For the full breakdown of the content - Snezhnaya, TPS mode, new characters - see our dedicated article on the 7.0 update.

Between now and August 12, expect the gradual release of detailed banners, a special recap livestream (already kicked off with the Special Program) and the traditional codes offering free Primogems.
