Control Resonant: the game on September 24, the disc on October 15

Remedy announced on August 18 that Control Resonant had gone gold: development is finished, and the digital release is still set for September 24 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Bad news, however, for collectors, as the boxed edition slips to October 15.

"We still need a bit more time to deliver the physical version, but rest assured: nothing stays confined forever," the studio writes. Three weeks apart, then, between the disc and the download.

The editions

• Standard: €59.99 on Steam.
• Digital Deluxe: €69.99, with an artbook, soundtrack, an outfit and a resource pack. On PS5, it also unlocks two days of early access.
• Mac version (Steam and App Store): later in 2026, no date set.

The timing is no accident. September is already packed — Marvel's Wolverine on the 15th, Silent Hill: Townfall on the 24th — and everyone is trying to get in before November 19 and the arrival of GTA 6. Remedy, which needs to right its finances after the failure of FBC: Firebreak, apparently prefers to hold the digital date even if it means letting the disc ship late.
