Introducing the Interceptor

The Interceptor is the first boss encountered in the game. It is located in the first zone, the solar power plant sector. Although the boss is large in size, it proves to be very fast and can unleash surprise attacks. The Interceptor has two main attacks with substantial damage, not to be taken lightly.

The fight against the Interceptor happens once you have completed the solar power plant zone. This is when you will be able to familiarize yourself with its combat mechanics before going further into the adventure.

Preparing for the fight and winning strategies

Before starting the fight, you need to carefully choose your weapons and hacking tools. Knowing these commands well is also crucial to avoid the boss's attacks.

The Interceptor has two main attacks:

• Quick charge: it rushes at you and hits you from a distance, knocking you far away from it. Anticipate its movements well to dodge.
• Missile barrage: it fires a series of missiles that sometimes track you. In that case, run away as fast as possible.

To damage the Interceptor, hacking is the only solution. It then becomes vulnerable, but its weak point is not the head like other enemies. The target is the orange tank, located on its back, that's its weak spot. Hits landed there deal extra damage.

• Overcharge: through accumulated hacks, you fill a gauge that you can unleash once full to deal a vengeful attack to all nearby enemies.
