MLBB Meta Heroes Tier List 2026 (Season 41)
In brief
The MLBB Season 41 meta (patch 2.1.90, July 2026) revolves around five dominant S-Tier Heroes: Nolan, Fredrinn, Arlott, Yu Zhong, and Floryn, all of which boast a pick/ban rate exceeding 60%. This tier list synthesizes trends from high ladder and the international competitive scene, in three tiers (S, A, B) to help you adapt your draft and climb the ranks.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang changes face with every major update, and Season 41 is no exception. Since the deployment of patch 2.1.90 in early July 2026, Moonton has rebalanced the Gold Lane, readjusted several Fighters, and brought back into the spotlight Heroes who had been forgotten for two seasons. The result: a readable meta, dominated by utility junglers, tanky EXP Fighters, and Supports capable of scaling an entire draft.
This tier list summarizes the current trends in high-level Ranked (Legend, Mythic, Mythical Glory) and the season's main competitions — MPL PH Fall 2026, Vietnam MLBB Championship Spring 2026, and MSC 2026. We selected 13 Heroes split into three tiers: S (meta-defining, often banned or first-picked), A (reliable and flexible alternatives), and B (solid provided you truly master them).
Tier S — The Heroes That Dictate the Draft
These five Heroes all show a pick/ban rate above 60% in the upper ladder and in the professional scene. Ignoring them during the draft phase almost always means playing against them.
Nolan — Assassin (Jungle)

The Cosmic Traveler remains the most contested Assassin of the patch. His extremely short cooldowns and burst capable of ignoring a good part of armor make him a combat-ending machine. Patch 2.1.90 raised his mid-game damage, which locks in his place at the top.
- Natural partner: Angela, who offers him a shield and engage teleport.
- Counter: Khufra, whose ult interrupts his dashes and cuts his combo short.
Fredrinn — Tank / Fighter (Jungle)

Absent from the meta for two seasons, Fredrinn has become the quintessential utility jungler once again. He tanks hits, taunts, reflects damage, and clears space for a beefy EXP Fighter. His presence explains much of the comeback of Arlott and Lapu-Lapu in competition.
- Natural partner: Arlott or Lapu-Lapu, who benefit from his setup.
- Counter: Karrie, whose percentage damage chips away at his massive health bar.
Arlott — Fighter (EXP)
The two-spear half-demon is one of the big winners of the 2026 meta. As long as he applies his mark, he chains dashes and attacks: impossible to shake off once he's launched his combo. His ultimate pulls enemies together before cutting them down, brutally punishing bad positioning.
- Natural partner: Fredrinn, whose engage creates the windows for his ult.
- Counter: Diggie or Kaja, who neutralize his crowd control and force him off his target.
Yu Zhong — Fighter (EXP)

The undisputed king of the EXP lane. His passive Sha Residue gives him near-inexhaustible sustain in 1v1s, and his ultimate Dragon Altar remains one of the best team fight tools in the game. He hovers around a 75% pick/ban rate in MPL 2026 — the best proof of his dominance.
- Natural partner: Angela, to extend his lane harass.
- Counter: Wanwan, whose Demon Statue neutralizes his ultimate.
Floryn — Support
The most contested Support of the meta. Her ultimate heals the entire team anywhere on the map, turning every match into a race to scale. She makes late-game Marksmen playable who otherwise wouldn't have time to come online.
- Natural partner: Miya, Wanwan, or any Marksman who needs time.
- Counter: Baxia and Karrie, who drastically reduce healing effectiveness.
Tip: before first-picking an S-tier Hero, make sure your composition already has a frontliner and a source of sustain. These Heroes dominate because they fit into a coherent game plan, not because they win on their own.
Tier A — The Fearsome Alternatives
A-tier Heroes remain solid picks, with a very high performance ceiling when mastered. They often become the second choice when an S-tier pick has just been banned.
Lapu-Lapu — Fighter (EXP)
After the burst Assassin nerfs, Lapu-Lapu is making a strong comeback. His sustain is matched only by Uranus and Cici, and his damage + CC combo makes him one of the hardest Fighters to trade with in lane.
- Natural partner: Rafaela, to amplify his sustain and teamfight presence.
- Counter: Karina, whose resets completely dodge him.
Wanwan — Marksman (Gold)

The quintessential late-game carry, she shows a win rate of around 51.8% and serves as a natural counter to Yu Zhong. Her Demon Statue, once all weaknesses are detected, makes her untouchable during her ultimate — a teamfight nightmare.
- Natural partner: Angela or Estes, who help her get through the mid-game.
- Counter: Franco, who scoops her up with his hook before she even scores her weaknesses.
Marcel — Assassin (Jungle)
The Soul Photographer, accompanied by his feline Clemar, shows one of the best win rates in the game (57.8%) despite very high ban pressure. His flashy playstyle, his ability to isolate a target, and his self-sufficient burst make him hard to contest in high-level Ranked.
- Natural partner: Angela or Rafaela, to accompany him on his dives.
- Counter: Khufra, again, who breaks his entire opening.
Chou — Fighter
An unshakeable veteran, Chou remains an extremely reliable roaming and side-lane pick. His Jump-kick + ult combo can isolate any enemy carry, and his immunity during Dodge makes him a proven tournament choice.
- Natural partner: Beatrix or Kagura, who capitalize on the targets he sends flying.
- Counter: Diggie, who renders his kidnap useless.
Lancelot — Assassin (Jungle)
An ultra-mobile Assassin, he chains dashes and dives onto soft backlines in a split second. He struggles, however, against heavy Tanks and sustain compositions — hence his A-tier spot rather than S.
Tier B — Solid in Good Hands
B-tier Heroes no longer dominate the meta, but remain fully viable if you play them regularly. They often require better game reading to shine.
Beatrix — Marksman
Her four weapons give her unique versatility, but the current meta's extreme mobility makes her positioning tricky. Formidable if your roam protects her properly.
Kagura — Mage
Very high skill cap, but devastating once mastered. Her burst with the Blossom can wipe out an Assassin in a single cycle, and her mobility between her two forms makes her unpredictable.
Franco — Tank (Roam)
Iconic hook. Punishes every poorly positioned Marksman and imposes his vision across the entire map. He struggles, however, against Wanwan and Nolan, who ignore him once their immunity is active.
Ling — Assassin
Extremely rewarding at a high level thanks to his 3D wall movement, but his very high skill wall and low tolerance for error make him a B-tier pick in solo queue.
Tip: a perfectly mastered B-tier Hero almost always beats a beginner playing an S-tier Hero. Stick to your main as long as it remains viable rather than chasing every patch — that's the best way to gain MMR over time.

Key takeaways
- Yu Zhong remains a must-have in the EXP lane with a 75% pick/ban rate — you absolutely need to ban him or first-pick him.
- Fredrinn, absent for two seasons, makes his grand return as the perfect utility jungler to unleash your Fighters.
- Marcel boasts a 57.8% win rate despite enormous ban pressure — that alone earns him S-Tier status if you master him.
- A B-Tier Hero played regularly will almost always beat an S-Tier Hero in the hands of a beginner — mastery trumps the meta.
- Synergies matter more than individual picks: an S-Tier Hero without a frontliner or sustain is just a footnote in your draft.
