Halloween: The Game - all Loomis Tapes in Chapter 1

As you follow Michael Myers' journey, gradually becoming what he is after his escape from the sanatorium, keep an eye out for collectibles. Chapter 1 hides two Loomis Journals to add to your collection. This chapter is bigger than it seems if you just stick to the tutorial: here are the areas to explore in order to get both of them.

Loomis Journal #1

The level begins outside a bar, where Michael attacks a group of bikers, both outside and inside. Once nearly all the bikers have been eliminated, a cutscene shows one of them coming out of the restroom and discovering the carnage. As he flees, the game prompts you to chase this last biker.

Before leaving the bar, head to the restroom hallway and enter the room on the left. A resident is there: you can kill him. On the dresser, the collectible is marked by a small circle placed on the furniture. Select "Pick up item" to grab it. You can then resume chasing the biker.

Loomis Journal #2

Once outside, a new cutscene shows the biker fleeing, then a mechanic. Before chasing him, take the time to explore the town. Across from the auto garage is a gas station.

Inside the gas station, you'll find an office with the collectible you're looking for sitting on the table. Pick it up to add it to your collection.

Checking your recordings

These collectibles are recordings. Once the level is completed, you can listen to them by going to the Cemetery menu from the main menu. Scroll to the tape on the left to see everything you've collected and get more information on each collectible in your possession.
