Playstyle+, bonus chemistry, and rarity: what to watch out for

Each Hall of FUT card comes with a unique playstyle+, along with several regular playstyles. This is typically the kind of detail that can turn an 84-rated card into a solid option on the pitch, far more than the raw rating displayed on the card.

There's also a possibility that these cards will benefit from bonus chemistry, but EA Sports hasn't officially confirmed anything on this specific point yet. So stay tuned.

As for rarity, the promo should remain relatively accessible at launch. Based on what we've seen with the Heroes and Icons promos in the past, these cards shouldn't be ultra-rare in packs, at least not right at the start.

Should you invest in these cards?

With ratings capping out at 85, the Hall of FUT clearly won't revolutionize the meta on its own. But the playstyle+ could change things for certain profiles, especially in positions where raw stats matter less than special attributes.

For now, it's hard to know precisely which playstyle+ are assigned to each player: EA Sports hasn't detailed this part yet. As soon as this information drops, it will be the real indicator to judge whether a card like Hulk or Luiz is worth it in Ultimate Team, or whether it will simply end up in the club without ever touching the pitch.
