ARC Raiders Cables and Batteries: How to Get Them

In ARC Raiders, the "Waste into Gold" mission asks players to find cables and batteries in the Topside in order to bring them back to Speranza. In our dedicated guide, we explain where to efficiently find these resources and collect hefty rewards.

Where to find cables and batteries in ARC Raiders

Cables and batteries are electronic components available mainly in specific locations on the map. To find them, head preferably to locations marked as "electric loot" or "tech loot" on the map. Electrical distribution points and power plants are the places where you'll be able to find these sought-after items.

Once you arrive in the mentioned areas, you need to investigate every closet, drawer and crate. Abandoned establishments allow the recovery of household electrical items, and even though they are certainly poor in resources, they can help you progress.

Here are a few tips to optimize your search:

• inspect furniture (drawers or closets), which may contain household appliances that can be recycled into battery sources
• check the power sources of certain computers which, at the end of their cycle, can be dismantled to obtain wire
• pay attention to cathode ray tube monitors, placed near certain control consoles which have a higher chance of having batteries
• visit electrical panels and generators which are, from the outside, the most easily accessible for visibly abandoned cables
• when crossing paths with other players in these areas, often within range of a common enemy, fight them if necessary and search their bodies, as they surely also had the same missions

Once you have all the elements you need in hand, place at least one of each in your Secure Pocket, to guard against the unexpected, given the obvious risk of loss in case of death against an enemy or an ARC machine. Then head straight to the first extraction point to bring your findings back to Speranza.
