ARC Raiders Bird Nests: How to Find Them

The Bird City modifier is one of the many notable features brought by the Headwinds update in ARC Raiders. Exclusive to the Buried City map, this modifier turns the vertical environment into a vast hunting ground with numerous loot opportunities. Let's see how to spot nests and loot them efficiently.

Description of the Bird City modifier

The Bird City event is a temporary event that activates special settings on the Buried City map: more birds are present (sound traps), but also plenty of ziplines for vertical movement, chimneys with nests, and a boost for credit farming. Each event lasts one hour and is triggered several times a day, roughly once every two hours since the February 2025 update.

Nests are only present in the chimneys on the rooftops of Buried City. With the exception of a few chimneys, all of them can be looted, but prioritize residential areas in particular.

Tip

Rooftops become the main battlefield thanks to the ziplines, use them for fast and safe movement to avoid crowded streets.

Tips for optimal nest looting

To loot nests efficiently without alerting enemies or rival raiders, follow these steps:

• Equip your weapon with a suppressor, of course bring a grappling hook for verticality, and don't forget to bring decoys. Preferably choose a PvE lobby.
• If you spawn in an unfavorable area, extract and try again until you get a central spawn.
• Head to the nearest rooftops containing the most chimneys.
• Approach a chimney discreetly. Interact with the nest, no surprise there won't be any combat, but the birds fly away if disturbed, and can thereby alert everyone nearby, other Raiders but also ARC enemies.
