Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero is the free-to-play action-RPG from HoYoverse (the same studio behind Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail), released on July 4, 2024 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, iOS and Android. The story takes place in New Eridu, the last standing metropolis after supernatural chaos zones ravaged civilization.

You play as a Proxy, manager of a front video store that actually serves as cover for sending teams of Agents into these zones. The gameplay blends nervy real-time combat - skill chaining, Daze management, Anomaly procs - with exploration phases in isometric view, dungeon-crawl urban style.

Where ZZZ stands out is through its visual identity: 90s punk aesthetic, bold art direction, and offbeat humor. Version 3.0 notably introduces Norma, a scientist with a horror-comedy register. Target audience: action gacha fans who want style as much as gameplay.
