Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG developed by HoYoverse and released in April 2023; it quickly made its mark in a genre often neglected by gacha games. You play as the Trailblazer, a space traveler who journeys across worlds aboard the Astral Express, alongside a cast of 5★ characters whose kits rival any premium JRPG in complexity.

Combat relies on elemental weaknesses, Toughness bars, and careful management of Skill Points - far from the button-mashing spam found in many mobile gacha games. Each character has a well-defined role: DPS, support, tank, healer. Synergies really matter.

The free-to-play model remains generous compared to the competition, even if the Relic grind can become a chronic source of frustration in the endgame. Available on PC (Epic Games Store, HoYoverse), iOS, Android and PlayStation.
