Civilization

Civilization is one of the most famous strategy franchises in the history of video games. Originally created by Sid Meier and developed by Firaxis Games, the series was launched in 1991 with a first installment that would establish itself as the founding act of the 4X genre (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate). The game's original concept invites players to build a civilization, from Antiquity to the modern age, managing diplomacy, technology, culture and military affairs.

After seven installments, Civilization has become an essential benchmark in turn-based strategy games.
