This segment allows for the inclusion of several alternative elite units for the Space Marines, new collectible service skulls and audio logs that reveal additional elements about the Chapter's mysterious origins.
AFTERMATH, meanwhile, ties into the main campaign's storyline, which it follows chronologically as part of missions with more open gameplay, playable both solo and in co-op, where the Blood Ravens must manage the immediate political and military consequences of a war. On the agenda: new maps, new heroes, additional doctrine trees and cosmetic customisation options for Space Marine armour and iconography. According to the Steam page and Deep Silver's announcements, this content is included in the Year 1 Expansion Pass, but is otherwise available for individual purchase at the series' usual price.
