In brief
Kunimitsu, the masked ninja with sharp katanas, arrives in Tekken 8 Season 3 on May 27, 2026 for Season Pass holders, then on June 1, 2026 for all other players. This iconic character from the early Tekken games returns with a reworked moveset, promising fast combos and devastating mobility that should shake up the tier lists.
Tekken 8 fans must be drooling: Kunimitsu, the masked ninja with razor-sharp katanas, is joining the Season 3 roster! This highly anticipated DLC arrives on May 27, 2026 for holders of the Season 3 Character Pass, who will get early access 5 days beforehand. As for everyone else, they'll have to wait until June 1, 2026. This was confirmed by Bandai Namco via a teaser.
Kunimitsu is no rookie: she made her debut in the early Tekken games, with fast combos, sneaky teleport-to-teleport movement, and unpredictable attacks. Her moveset, reworked for Tekken 8, will no doubt shake up the tier lists thanks to insane mix-ups and devastating mobility.
The Season 3 Pass (€34.99 on Steam, PS5 or Xbox) first gives us Kunimitsu, then Bob (July-September), Roger Jr (October-December) and character 12 (early 2027), plus as a bonus, a stage in 2027, 44 Aurora Outfit costumes to collect, and 5 days of early access for the following characters.
