Pokémon Pokopia: Expansion Pass & Underwater Update

With its Expansion Pass and a major free update, Pokémon Pokopia is set to transform your island into a true underwater archipelago. Starting in August 2026, all players will benefit from an update including the Dive ability, which will allow free exploration of the seabed, building houses underwater, decorating the ground with new materials, and observing the habits of aquatic Pokémon, all at no extra cost.

At the same time, the paid Expansion Pass (available on the Nintendo eShop) will introduce three waves of content. The first, titled Bubbly Depths, will feature a new underwater town where you'll be able to encounter brand-new marine Pokémon. It will be possible to unlock furniture specific to this environment, and an exclusive outfit for Ditto will also be offered. Two further parts will follow, with new features expected to arrive by the end of 2026, while a second major town is planned for 2027. Purchasing the Pass includes immediate bonuses, such as the recipe for the "Ditto Galore" pattern for blocks and wallpapers, as well as 30 rare Poké Metal ingots, offered as a bonus for early purchases via a Mystery Gift code.
