Palworld Online arrives on mobile in 2026 via Garena

Palworld exploded on PC and Xbox in 2024, racking up more than 25 million players in a month thanks to its blend of survival, crafting and Pokémon-style creature capturing. Since then, the question has been circulating in the community: when would Pocketpair export the formula to mobile? It's now official.

Garena, the publisher behind Free Fire, has announced Palworld Online, an officially licensed Pocketpair mobile MMO. Release is planned for 2026 on iOS and Android. The game doesn't just port the PC title: it introduces a new narrative arc, brand-new side quests, and shifts to a persistent MMO structure with a shared base, cooperative PvE and PvP battles. Terry Zhao, president of Garena, stressed the intent to preserve "the depth, immersion and freedom" of the original title while adapting it for touch controls.

It remains to be seen how this promise will hold up against the reality of the mobile market, often heavy on microtransactions and aggressive progression systems.
