Clash Royale: How to Get the Secret Chaos Emote
In brief
Unlocking the secret Chaos emote in Clash Royale requires meeting very specific conditions in a single Unlimited Elixir C.H.A.O.S match: having the Berserker, Valkyrie, and Elite Barbarians in your deck, getting the right modifiers for each, and winning the match with three crowns. The real difficulty? It's a matter of luck — you'll probably need to chain several attempts before validating everything.
The KHAOS season is coming to an end, but Supercell has one last surprise in store: a secret emote showing the Berserker making the silence gesture. Getting it is far from straightforward - even if you meet all the conditions, you'll also need a good dose of luck. Here's how to do it.
The conditions to meet
Everything has to happen during one single match in C.H.A.O.S mode. Specifically, you need to:
- Play a match in C.H.A.O.S mode.
- Include in your deck the three new cards from this season: the Berserker, the Valkyrie, and the Elite Barbarians (the first two got their Hero versions this season, while the Elite Barbarians got an Evolution).
- Land, in that same match, the following modifiers: Rare (orange) modifier for the Berserker, Epic (purple) modifier for the Elite Barbarians, and Epic (purple) modifier for the Valkyrie.
- Win the duel by achieving three crowns.
And yes, that's all it takes!

The right mode: C.H.A.O.S Unlimited Elixir
Three C.H.A.O.S modes are currently available: C.H.A.O.S Triple Draft, C.H.A.O.S Draft, and C.H.A.O.S Unlimited Elixir. The first two impose draft decks. Only C.H.A.O.S Unlimited Elixir lets you build your own deck: so it's in this mode that you need to play if you hope to unlock the emote.
Why luck comes into play
The real challenge is getting all the required modifiers in the same match. On average, a player gets four or five modifiers per match: landing precisely on the ones required for the Berserker, the Elite Barbarians, and the Valkyrie is therefore largely a matter of chance. Add to that the requirement of ending with a three-crown victory, and you'll likely need to play through many matches before checking off every box.

A solid deck to try your luck
Here's an effective composition to help meet the emote's conditions:
| Card | Elixir cost |
|---|---|
| Berserker | 2 |
| Valkyrie | 4 |
| Elite Barbarians | 6 |
| Executioner | 5 |
| Skeleton Barrel | 3 |
| Barbarian Barrel | 2 |
| Poison | 4 |
| Fireball | 4 |
When will you receive the emote?
The emote is not credited immediately. Players who have met all the conditions will receive it in the next season, which starts on Monday, September 7th. One last thing to keep in mind: this emote cannot be unlocked by playing with friends.

Key takeaways

- The three mandatory cards (Berserker, Valkyrie, Elite Barbarians) must have a Rare, Epic, and Epic modifier respectively in the same match
- The emote is only obtained with a three-crown victory, which makes luck a determining factor
- You will receive the emote in the next season (September 7), not immediately after validating the conditions
- This emote is inaccessible in matches with friends, only in regular matchmaking
