Counter-Strike 2 is a tactical multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Valve. A direct successor to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Counter-Strike 2 is the franchise's most technically accomplished release, achieving the biggest technological leap thanks to its Source 2 engine. The core gameplay proposition, built on the objective-based system between two factions - terrorists and counter-terrorists - in the game's bomb planting/defusal or hostage rescue/taking missions, hasn't changed one bit.
Counter-Strike 2 is offered for free as an update to CS:GO and delivers groundbreaking features thanks to physically based rendering, updated networking, and a redesigned visual style, all while preserving the competitive identity that has won over millions of fans around the world.
