Wuthering Waves 3.6: trailer unveils Qingxiao and Jingran

Kuro Games has dropped its new trailers for version 3.6 of Wuthering Waves, soberly titled "Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart".

What strikes you right away in these images: the two new Resonators, Qingxiao and Jingran, clearly take center stage. We see them chaining combos with their signature weapons, Glint of Clouds and Thousandfold Deliverance, in sequences that heavily emphasize their skill animations. The visual style stays in line with what the franchise has always delivered: heavy particle effects, smooth transitions between exploration and combat, and that camera that likes to linger on the characters' outfits.

Compared to the 3.5 teasers, the staging here leans more heavily on the narrative aspect rather than purely on gameplay. You can feel that Kuro wants to sell the atmosphere of this new story branch just as much as the combat mechanics, unlike previous trailers which were more focused on kit demonstrations. The exploration scenes also offer a glimpse of new locations, likely tied to the Fogveil Pagoda event.
