About
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), the video game subsidiary of Sony Corporation, was established in 1993 in San Mateo, California. Designer of the PlayStation console, but also producer of numerous exclusive games from its studios, SIE stands as one of the leaders of the interactive entertainment industry on a global scale.
Among its flagship exclusive licenses are "The Last of Us" (2013), a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game acclaimed by critics upon release and designed by Naughty Dog studio, "God of War" (2005), an epic mythological fresco born from the imagination of Santa Monica Studio, and "Horizon Zero Dawn" (2017), an open-world action RPG created by Guerrilla Games.
SIE also has licenses such as "Uncharted", "Gran Turismo", and "Spider-Man", which allow it to renew its offering of exclusive video games.
