The Last of Us Part III

The third installment of Naughty Dog's highly acclaimed post-apocalyptic saga, The Last of Us Part III would indeed be in development. Neil Druckmann, co-creator, has confirmed that a concept has matured, built around the three characters Ellie, Joel and Tommy in a world ravaged by Cordyceps.

« That's all I can say for now. This concept is still in the evaluation phase, but we'll stick with it. All I can add is that it will be connected to the previous one, but I still find it hard to say how... ».

The gameplay should blend (tense) exploration, (brutal) melee and ranged combat, and immersive third-person storytelling. This universe tackles, without compromise, human survival, loss and redemption in a world where the infected know no limits.

In pre-production, it will follow a priority sci-fi game project (Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet), and promises major innovations.
