Horizon Hunters Gathering

The first departure of the Horizon series away from solo play, Hunters Gathering offers the chance to hunt machines together, in a tactical action co-op game where each player shapes their own hunter rather than playing as Aloy. Guerrilla Games is developing it for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Announced in 2026, the project went through a private test phase that was poorly received. According to a Bloomberg report published in August 2026, the studio has reportedly been rebuilding it since June to remove live-service mechanics and bring it back to more classic co-op, featuring a story mode and a noticeably reduced scope. No date has been announced, and Sony has not commented on this information.
