Guerrilla Games, a Dutch video game development company, was founded in 2000 in Amsterdam. Acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2005, it has established itself as one of the pillars of PlayStation exclusives. Among its iconic productions, the "Killzone" FPS franchise (since 2004) marked PlayStation with its very dark science fiction universe. More recently, "Horizon Zero Dawn" (2017) and "Horizon Forbidden West" (2022) achieved phenomenal commercial success with their post-apocalyptic world populated by mechanical creatures.
