SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed

Thirteen years after the first SpeedRunners, Fair Play Labs relaunches the formula that made its reputation on the indie circuit: the split-screen chase race where the goal isn't to cross the finish line, but to push your rivals out of frame. SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed revives the competitive platforming concept for up to eight players, online or local, with grappling hook, wall jumps and a rain of vicious power-ups - missiles, traps, stun rays.

The visual style, however, changes radically: HD art direction inspired by a retro-futuristic superhero universe in a 1960s style, reworked netcode, and a cast of eccentric characters mixing old and new faces. The game targets newcomers, via private lobbies and custom challenges, as much as PvP diehards who want to climb the tournament rankings.
