Volvy's Adventure: Reslimed

Volvy's Adventure: Reslimed presents itself as the remaster of the remake of a platform game that, according to its own product page, never came out — all while featuring "the most famous video game mascot of all time." The hoax runs through the entire press release, and even contradicts itself: Devolver Digital speaks of a "hit" where the product page claims the original never saw the light of day.

The game's distinctive feature is Volvy's oversized hand, used to glide over chasms, grab onto rails, dig and strike. Eating onions triggers a transformation into Swolvy, more powerful. Four redesigned worlds, bosses and mini-games between levels round out the package. Developed by doinksoft, a studio acquired by Devolver Digital in 2023, the game releases on November 19, 2026 on PC, single-player only, for €4.99. It is translated into French (interface and subtitles, no dubbing).
