About Final Fantasy XIV Online
Final Fantasy XIV Online is Square Enix's MMORPG, developed by Creative Studio III led by Naoki Yoshida. After a version 1.0 released in 2010 then shut down due to critical failure, the game was completely relaunched on August 27, 2013 under the title A Realm Reborn. It offers a vast fantasy world, Eorzea, where the player takes on the role of an adventurer free to switch classes and specializations at will thanks to the Armoury system. Varied endgame content (Ultimate, Savage, Extreme raids, Bozja/Occult Crescent Field Operations, Crystalline Conflict PvP), major paid expansions (Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, Endwalker, Dawntrail), and a free trial up to level 70. Available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S (ported July 2024).
