Square Enix

In April 2003, the Japanese video game publisher and developer Square Enix was born from the merger between Square and Enix. Since then, the company has become a global powerhouse with legendary RPGs and franchises it has created over the years. It set the tone for RPGs with "Final Fantasy", a flagship JRPG series that has seen several famous remakes, with the "Dragon Quest" saga, the most popular in the country, and to some extent through "Kingdom Hearts", its collaboration with Disney studios. Nothing seems to stop it as the company continues to innovate with the recent release of the title "Octopath Traveler", thus asserting itself as a heavyweight of the global video game industry.
