Frozen Trail arrives on October 8, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Embark Studios describes it as its biggest update since launch, and the first of its new rhythm: fewer but heavier updates, roughly one every six months.
The studio has detailed the confirmed content. A new map first: a frozen village at the foot of the mountains, on the edge of the Rust Belt, with its abandoned factories, laboratories and observatory, designed for more verticality and threats both on the surface and underground. Added to this are a high-level ARC Operation, new ARCs, customizable weapons and the Outpost, which takes over from the Raider Den, with a revamped skill tree and reworked Raider Decks. Embark is not publishing French labels for these new features: its French-language site leaves these names in English.
Until then, Embark promises more details in September and will be present at gamescom in Cologne. One last word on the Subway operation launched on August 20: it is limited to American restaurants and does not work from France.
