NTE: Linko's "Zap Away!" board — modified mode with 70 pulls, guaranteed by the 90th, closes September 29 at 11:59 PM

The limited board "Rolling Non-Stop!" from NTE: Neverness to Everness has been open since the end of maintenance on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. It features Linko, a limited S-class character, and it closes its doors on September 30, 2026 at 5:59 AM (UTC+8). All deadlines in the announcement are written in this time zone: converted to French time, the closure falls on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The conversion is ours; Hotta Studio does not communicate any European schedule.

The stakes come down to one sentence from the September 9 announcement: Linko is currently only available through this board, and no other means of obtaining her is planned for the moment. The two caveats — "currently" and "for the moment" — matter, but no other entry point has been announced to date.

A prerequisite controls access, and the two official announcements don't word it the same way. The one from September 8 asks players to complete the main story quest and writes its title with a dash: Prologue - A New Destination - Meet at Eibon's Antique Shop. The one from September 9 refers to an episode quest and writes the same title with a colon. It's the same quest: look for it under Eibon's Antique Shop, not the punctuation.

The dice, the tiles, and what the announcement doesn't quantify

You move across the board using Solid Dice or Sync Dice, each roll advancing 1 to 6 tiles, with an equal probability for each of the six values. The token stops on a tile and the Specialist collects the displayed reward. Six equally likely values means an average advance of 3.5 tiles per roll: this is our own calculation, not data from the publisher, and it leads nowhere until we know the length of the track. The announcement gives neither the number of tiles, nor their content, nor any drop rate, and refers players to the in-game Scarborough Fair.

One consequence is directly evident: cosmetics are won by landing on the right tile, so it's down to the dice roll, not just the volume of pulls. This is what the parallel event Sync Favors makes up for, whose rewards can be claimed on its own page starting at 50, 120, then 200 cumulative pulls.

70, 89, 90: the three thresholds that govern the board

This is the only part of the announcement that gives firm numbers. The board starts in base mode. If the featured S-class character hasn't appeared after 70 consecutive pulls, it switches to modified mode, described as a mode with increased rates; once the character is obtained, it reverts to base mode.

The second threshold is a hard cap: after 89 pulls without the featured character, the 90th pull grants it to you automatically. Hotta Studio adds a detail not to be overlooked — in this case, your token does not move. The guaranteed pull gives you Linko, but yields no tile reward.

Three counters shared between banners, one siloed counter

The two rules follow one another in the same paragraph of the September 9 announcement, and they say the opposite of each other: that's where the crux of the matter lies. On one hand, the studio writes that all limited banners share the same guarantee counter for S-class characters, the gift point progression, and the banner modification progression: three shared counters, including the one for the 70th and 90th pulls. On the other hand, the following sentence indicates that the outfit favors specific to this banner are temporary and exclusive, and that progression does not transfer to other limited banners. These favors are named: Outfit of the Day, Modification Hour (Paint), and Fashion Center.

Linko or Hotori: two banners, a single pull pool

The question arises because a second limited banner runs on the exact same window, down to the minute: Misty Tipsy Style, which brings back Hotori. Both feature the same A-class characters — Haniel, Aurelia, and Skia — which won't settle anything for anyone.

The arbitration then splits into two levels. On cosmetics, spreading yourself thin comes at a cost: the favors from Linko's banner and the Hourglass Favors event, tied to Hotori's, do not communicate with each other. The studio states this explicitly for Hotori, and phrases it differently for Linko in the September 9 announcement: two sentences, one and the same rule.

On the S-class guarantee, by contrast, nothing is lost, since the counter is shared between the two banners. This is our reading of Hotta Studio's sentence: the announcement does not detail the case of a Specialist who alternates, and does not indicate which of the two characters would be granted if the 90th pull landed after a banner switch. On this point, trust the in-game interface rather than any deduction.

One shared expense remains: the Tri-Keys. They unlock the Special Symphony weapon research program, which distributes the new limited S-class weapon Traveler's Voice, as well as Special Moonlight, which brings back into circulation the weapon Walk Beyond Time. Both windows also close on September 29 at 11:59 PM.

Linko's cosmetics: what leaves on September 29, what stays

The discount window and the availability window are not the same thing. The Withered Spring outfit drops to Rift Crystal ×1,680 instead of ×2,480, a 32% reduction according to the announcement and a saving of 800 crystals. But it is the discount that ends on September 29: the studio specifies that this outfit's availability in the shop is permanent.

Everything obtained through the banner, on the other hand, disappears along with it. A naming quirk deserves mention: the outfit won from the banner is called Surfer Among the Stars in the September 8 announcement and Surfer Amid the Stars in the one from September 9. Both texts are from Hotta Studio, written in French a day apart. We are going with the name used in the update announcement, which is the more precise one regarding acquisition methods.

The bike and its livery illustrate the trap. The Bike of Yesteryear remains on sale for 800,000 Fons, but the Turbo Linko paint kit that dresses it up is only obtainable on the board. Buying the bike in a hurry is therefore pointless; securing the paint job is not.

In practice

Everything related to the board expires on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM Paris time. In order:

• Check that the quest Prologue - A New Destination - Head to Eibon's Antique Shop is completed: without it, nothing opens up.
• If you're aiming for Linko, budget for the stated cap, 90 draws, not the 70 threshold: the modified mode improves your odds, it doesn't guarantee anything.
• Don't split your draws between the two boards if you're interested in the cosmetics: that progress doesn't carry over.
• Claim on the Synchronization Favors page, before it closes, whatever your 50, 120, or 200 draws have unlocked.
• The discount on Withered Spring can wait: the outfit itself won't be leaving the shop.

A final word about what this article does not contain. These announcements do not publish any data on Linko's combat kit: no skill values, no recommended bow, no team composition. They only flag bond quests, message conversations, a combat tutorial, a story called City Strolls, and an Invitation mode, Time to Head Home. Any build guides circulating out there are therefore not based on them.
