South of Midnight

South of Midnight plunges players into the heart of a reimagined American South, where folklore, blues, and dark magic intertwine. In this game, you play as Hazel Flood, a young woman who becomes a "Weaver", gifted with the ability to weave and mend the bonds between spirits, places, and memories. Following a devastating catastrophe that struck her hometown, Hazel embarks on a journey across haunted bayous, misty roads, and small communities marked by time, in order to confront creatures drawn from Southern legends.

The gameplay combines third-person action-adventure with dynamic combat based on weaving powers, platforming sequences, and environmental puzzles. The stop-motion aesthetic, rich storytelling, and blues-infused soundtrack create the atmosphere of a modern fable, oscillating between gothic tale and coming-of-age road trip.
