Gears of War 6

For the sixth installment of the Gears of War franchise, Rod Fergusson, former producer, was envisioning Gears of War 6, a sequel to Gears 5, whose original epic planned to extract Kait Diaz, Marcus Fenix and the Delta team from the planet Sera via UIR satellite audiovisual technology, against a backdrop of human survival in another world of the solar system.

This space-based project, inspired by the artifacts from Gears 5, fell into oblivion, abandoned to serve as a founding pretext for Gears of War: E-Day, a prequel about the Day of Emergence of the young Marcus, Dom and the soldiers of the Delta unit against the Locust. However, according to certain leaks, it might still be possible for the development of Gears of War 6 to exist in parallel: we could then get a muscular TPS, a next-gen open world, and the tragic epilogue of Kait's narrative arc concerning the Swarm and Queen Reyna...
