CULTIC

CULTIC is a retro first-person shooter inspired by the boomer shooter genre, drawing as much reference from Blood as from classic DOS-era titles. The player takes on the role of an inspector assassinated during an investigation into a series of disappearances linked to an obscure cult, before literally returning from the dead for revenge. The game features numerous open confrontations in semi-sandbox levels, alternating between precise headshots, well-placed dynamite, and environmental traps, to wipe out multiple waves of hooded cultists. Gritty art direction, a grimy palette, and a horror atmosphere set the action in the 1960s, with a muffled, industrial soundtrack perfectly underscoring the rising tension. In its console versions, CULTIC comes with all the improvements from the previous chapter, optimized for controllers.
