Clutch is the first project from Maverick Games, a studio founded by Forza Horizon veterans determined to explore the potential of the open-world racing genre. Written like a cinematic road thriller, the title combines nervy driving with blockbuster staging, all served by a multiple-choice narrative. Behind the wheel of hyper-detailed cars powered by Unreal Engine 5, players roam a vast open world inspired by the south of France, moving between steep villages, coastal highways, and vibrant urban areas. Scripted races, high-flying chases, scripted stunts, and exploration are all on the menu, along with garage customization and relationships between characters.
