North Beach Games Prague is the Prague-based studio in charge of developing Stranded Deep 2, the sequel to the cult survival sandbox game released in 2015. The project is led by Sam Edwards, co-creator of the first Stranded Deep at Beam Team Games, who now holds the position of creative director on this sequel.
The studio works closely with publisher North Beach Games, which also oversees development. The announcement of Stranded Deep 2 dates back to August 2024, and a reveal trailer marks the first concrete presentation of the game, expected in early access on PC via Steam.
At this stage, little public information circulates about the size of the Prague-based team or any other projects underway in parallel: Stranded Deep 2 appears to be the main, if not the only, known undertaking of the studio. Its geographic location in Prague makes it a new Czech player to watch in the survival sandbox landscape.
