SHROT

SHROT draws heavily on the codes of the golden age of 90s boomer shooters with a raw and nervous approach. In the boots of a Slavic truck driver who has landed in the United States, the player blasts away at an alien invasion with heavy weapons, non-stop gunfire, at lightning speed. The project, led by the Croatian studio ANIQ, draws inspiration from DOOM, Duke Nukem and Serious Sam, with levels dedicated to the arsenal, arcade speed and a retro atmosphere. The whole thing gives pride of place to frantic combat, dark humor, pop culture and dirty science fiction. No exact date yet, but SHROT presents itself as a beefy old-school FPS.
