About Humankind 2
Humankind 2 revisits the formula of the first installment — building a civilization by combining cultures from one era to the next — and adds a variable that the genre rarely tackles head-on: climate. Every decision affects the world as much as the culture of the people you lead, and the map transforms throughout the ages.
The player founds cities, forges alliances, develops technologies and commands armies, from the earliest camps to the contemporary era. Announced at the Opening Night Live of gamescom 2026 by the French studio Amplitude Studios, the game is expected on PC in 2027. No French localization has been confirmed to date.
