Humankind

Humankind is a turn-based historical strategy game in which you don't choose a civilization, but a succession of cultures. At each change of era, the player adopts a new people and keeps the bonuses from previous ones: the game thus builds a composite civilization, different every time, from among some sixty cultures spanning from Antiquity to the modern era.

The rest borrows from the genre what works best — cities to develop, technologies to unlock, armies to maneuver on a hexagonal map — with finer territorial management than average. Developed and published by French studio Amplitude Studios, released in August 2021 on PC and Mac, it is translated into French, with English voices.
