Cassette Beasts 2002

Sequel to Bytten Studio's creature-collecting RPG, expected in March 2027. The action moves to London in 2002: the hero falls into Nodnol, a parallel world populated by beasts, and must unmask an occultist named Westerley who threatens both realities.

The founding concept returns intact: you record monsters onto audio cassettes to take their form in battle, and you fuse two tapes to obtain a hybrid creature with combined typing. More than 250 beasts are announced, with adventure companions and an online mode. Players of the first installment can import their character.

The game is planned for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2. The interface and text are translated into French; there is no dubbing.
