2XKO

A 2v2 tag fighting game from Riot Games, 2XKO draws its cast from League of Legends: Ahri, Darius, Yasuo, Illaoi, Jinx, Braum and a few others face off in teams of two, with tag-ins and assists. The game can also be played in duo, with each player controlling a character from the same team.

Announced long ago under the code name Project L, it entered early access on PC in October 2025 before a full launch in January 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Riot has pushed its networking expertise here, with rollback netcode and a ranked mode designed to be less solitary than the genre average. The studio announced in August 2026 that active development would end by the end of the year; the servers, however, remain open.
