Senscape
About
Senscape is an independent Argentine studio founded by Agustín Cordes, a discreet but respected figure in old-school horror adventure games. The studio made its name with Scratches (2006), a first-person point-and-click adventure game praised by critics for its oppressive atmosphere and polished writing - a true love letter to 80s survival horror. Then came Serena (2012), a short narrative experience distributed for free, built collaboratively with the AGS (Adventure Game Studio) community.
Senscape's signature is recognizable: slow-burn horror, atmosphere above all, unabashed references to giallo and European horror cinema (Lucio Fulci, Peter Cushing). No combat, no intrusive HUD - just atmosphere and puzzles.
Their most ambitious project, ASYLUM, was announced more than fifteen years ago before finally releasing on PC in March 2025, via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The console adaptation (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Switch) is expected in winter 2026, published by SOEDESCO.
