Relic Entertainment is a Canadian studio founded in 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Owned by Sega since 2013, the studio has established itself as a benchmark of Western RTS with solid, enduring franchises.

Its catalog speaks for itself: Homeworld (1999), which redefined the space RTS, the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War saga, Impossible Creatures, and the Company of Heroes license, started in 2006 and considered one of the best historical RTS of the genre. Company of Heroes 3 was released in February 2023.

The studio numbers around a hundred developers. Its stylistic signature: RTS with dynamic cover, strong tactical readability, and polished art direction. With Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand, planned for July 29, 2026, Relic ventures into roguelite wave-defense territory - a notable departure from its classic strategy DNA.
