About

Founded in 2003 by former Black Isle Studios developers, Obsidian Entertainment is an American studio specializing in narrative RPGs of exceptional quality, both in terms of their stories and richly developed worlds, but also thanks to the choices they offer players. Some of their titles include "Fallout: New Vegas" (2010), often considered the best modern entry in the franchise, offering surprising narrative freedom in the post-apocalyptic Mojave; "The Outer Worlds" (2019), an excellent, well-written parodic space RPG; and "Pillars of Eternity" (2015), which brilliantly showcases the isometric RPG. Acquired by Microsoft in 2018, Obsidian continues to create quality RPGs.
