Created in 1986 in Tokyo, FromSoftware is a major Japanese studio known for its difficult and immersive games. It is led by Hidetaka Miyazaki, whose productions have redefined the action-RPG genre through their dark worlds and above-average difficulty. FromSoftware can be credited with the following games: - "Dark Souls" (2011): the masterpiece that invented the Souls-like genre, known for its punishing gameplay and intrinsically interconnected level design. - "Bloodborne" (2015): a PlayStation exclusive with Victorian gothic overtones. - "Elden Ring" (2022): a wonderful international success, awarded Game of the Year, and created in collaboration with George R.R. Martin.
