Established under the impetus of David Darling, a Codemasters alumnus, the company Kwalee has been a benchmark in the video game world since 2011, with an office in the town of Leamington Spa, England. From a hyper-casual mobile catalogue totaling more than 700 million downloads, the British publisher has managed to steer itself towards more ambitious projects on PC and consoles. With offices in India, China and Portugal, the publisher has built an international network for its studios. Kwalee Labs, its internal spearhead, is currently betting on so-called 'core' titles, such as Luna Abyss, a narrative FPS hybridizing platforming and bullet hell, planned for May 2026. This expansion marks a welcome turning point, far removed from mere viral hits.
