Game Science, a Chinese video game development studio headquartered in Hangzhou, was founded in 2014 by former Tencent Games developers. It is recognised for its ambition to create AAA games inspired by national culture.
Its flagship title is "Black Myth: Wukong" (2024), an intense action-RPG inspired by the classic novel "Journey to the West", which has met with impressive worldwide success. Previously, the studio had developed "Art of War: Red Tides", a real-time strategy game for mobile.
Game Science is currently developing a new title set in the same universe as "Wukong", "Black Myth: Zhong Kui". The studio embodies China's rise in the premium video game sector.
