World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition

World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition is the natural progression of the Anniversary Realms, launched by Blizzard Entertainment on November 21, 2024 to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary. These realms started in Vanilla and moved on to The Burning Crusade Classic on February 5, 2026, with a pre-patch starting January 13.

Unlike the original 2021 release of TBC Classic, this Anniversary edition replays the game's first expansion at an accelerated, modernized pace, with a full 2026 roadmap: phase 1 (Karazhan, Gruul, Magtheridon) in February-March, phase 2 on May 14, phase 3 (Mount Hyjal, Black Temple) in summer, phase 3.5 (Zul'Aman) and phase 4 (Isle of Quel'Danas and Sunwell Plateau) in fall.

The content includes all of Outland, the new Blood Elf (Horde) and Draenei (Alliance) races, cross-faction Paladin classes, flying mounts in Outland, and seasonal battlegrounds. Anniversary Vanilla characters were automatically migrated to this version: no need to create new realms. Access is included with the standard WoW subscription.
