Ex Sanguis

Ex Sanguis is a turn-based tactical RPG roguelite from Lightbulb Crew, the studio behind Othercide. It carries over the visual style that made the latter's reputation: a black-and-white world where only blood, literally, restores color and life.

The player leads the Stillae, warriors born from the Mater's Sanguis, sent into battle against the forces of Stasis to poison a world frozen by the Purge. The game system relies on timeline effects (speeding up, delaying, or swapping the order of turns), tactical use of the environment (explosions, fires, line-of-sight blocking), and spatial effects such as knockback or flanking bonuses.
