Dokimon Quest

Dokimon Quest is a turn-based monster-catching RPG that fully embraces its inspiration: the palette and grain of a Game Boy Color game, revisited in modern pixel art. The player explores the region of Xelos in search of a missing childhood friend, and captures, trains and battles more than 140 creatures spread across around fifteen towns.

The game follows a classic loop — explore, capture, evolve, battle trainers — but opens it up more than its models: progression isn't locked behind a mandatory gym order. Developed and published by independent studio Yanako RPGs, it was released on Windows in November 2024 and features a French interface and subtitles.
