Action-adventure game by Remedy Entertainment released in 2019, re-released the following year as an Ultimate Edition with its two expansions, "The Foundation" and "AWE." Jesse Faden pushes open the door of the Federal Bureau of Control's headquarters, a government agency dealing with the paranormal, and finds herself appointed director that same day — inside a building that keeps reshaping itself.

The game combines third-person shooting, telekinetic powers, and exploration of a brutalist architecture that shifts shape. Its reputation rests as much on its combat, where you rip furniture from the walls to hurl it at enemies, as on its presentation: absurd memos, live-action footage, and a haunted-office aesthetic. It holds a Metacritic score of 85 on PC.

Single-player, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Mac. Text and voice acting are available in French. A sequel, Control Resonant, is expected on September 24, 2026.
