Brigandine: Abyss

Brigandine: Abyss is a turn-based strategy RPG that returns to the formula of the original series: you manage warring factions on the map of the world of Meltitea, recruit monsters, send troops on quests during the organization phase, then resolve clashes on a hexagonal grid during the invasion phase.

Six main factions face off, each with its own narrative campaigns. Two of them are available in the demo: Gran Dragnica, where Largo hunts down the corruption that turns dragons into puppets, and Scarlet Will, in which Garnet leads her company against the Abyssloa empire.

In a market saturated with Japanese tactical RPGs, Brigandine plays the old-school territory management card - closer to Langrisser or the early Ogre Battle games than to a modern Fire Emblem. Target audience: fans of advanced strategy and old-school political fantasy.
