In the Subnautica saga, players evolve in the depths of a strange world where survival and exploration intertwine in a breathtaking way. Developed in 2018 by Unknown Worlds, this aquatic survival title brought together millions of fans around its alien oceanic universe populated by bioluminescent creatures and unfathomable dangers. Its successor, Subnautica: Below Zero (2021), moves the action to a frozen planet while refining crafting and the story by focusing on a protagonist determined to face storms and architectural mysteries. In Subnautica 2, scheduled for early access on PC and Xbox Series on May 14, 2026, the formula evolves further under the publishing of Krafton: it is nothing less than a cooperative title for up to four players on a new aquatic planet, featuring reworked modular bases, not to mention Unreal Engine 5 serving prodigious visual immersion.
